The No. 18 Interstate Batteries Toyota Camry sports a bold new look this year to commemorate our 20-year partnership with Joe Gibbs Racing.
For the first time, the No.18 will be primarily white with green and black accents. The focal point of the new car design is a stunning illustration on the hood of a huge Interstate Battery seemingly bursting through and ripping open the sheet metal.
Longtime fans of the No. 18 will recognize the lightning bolt design on the sides of the car, a design made famous in the early years of the Interstate Batteries/JGR partnership. Kyle Busch will get his first chance to put the new white Toyota Camry in victory lane at Fontana, Calif., during the Auto Club 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race on March 27.
Busch's teammate and JGR Team Interstate driver, Denny Hamlin, will also get a shot at taking the checkered flag in the newly redesigned Interstate Batteries Camry in the Las Vegas 300 Nationwide race on March 5. Look for Hamlin in the No.20 Interstate Toyota at Vegas Motor Speedway.
The Interstate All Battery Center car
The No. 18 Interstate All Battery Center Toyota Camry will run the newly-paved high banks of the legendary Daytona Speedway under the lights during the July 4th weekend. With an all new shimmering green and gold design, the car will help draw attention to Interstate Batteries' retail store franchising opportunity, which has been recognized by AllBusiness.com as No. 60 on the 2011 AllBusiness Allstar Franchise list. The metallic and reflective green and gold colors mimic those found on Interstate All Battery Center's alkaline batteries. Kyle Busch will be driving the No.18 attempting to repeat his 2008 Coke Zero win at Daytona International Speedway.
