Team Interstate's 2011 AMA Supercross season kicks off with a new face and a familiar number. The Muscle Milk/Toyota/Interstate Batteries/JGRMX Team signed Davi Millsaps in the off-season, pairing him with returning superstar Justin Brayton in the AMA Supercross and National Motocross Championship Series.
Millsaps, 22, owns nine amateur national titles, a Lites Supercross Championship and numerous podium finishes in the premier class. His bike will bear the famous number 18, the first number run by Joe Gibbs Racing.
Brayton, 26, returns after the best season of his career. He took the Silver Medal in the highly publicized Super X competition during X Games 16 in July and earned a podium finish at the Pennsylvania round of the AMA Motocross Championship Series in September. He enters 2011 on a hot streak after winning the third round of the 2010 Australasian Supercross Series in October and sweeping both nights of the 25th Annual International Supercross Geneva, earning the title "King of Geneva."
Look for these young superstars to continue to blaze a trail in 2011. Make sure to catch them at an event near you!
